The General Food Store welcomes customers back to beautiful Emerald with their famous friendly service and a delicious, dietary friendly menu. Committed to an ever-evolving menu using seasonal ingredients sourced from the amazing growers and producers in the local and greater Victorian food regions, they endeavour to operate ethically and sustainably, whilst reducing their environmental impact.

Enjoy their famous Arabesque, waffles, hearty salads, tasty burgers and fresh baguettes, and treats from their house made cake selection. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free and kids are not only welcome but encouraged, and the team take great pride in catering for varied dietary requirements. Find Coffee Supreme on the grind,  along with guest blends from Melbourne's bespoke roasters, and a providore full of locally and house made condiments and treats!

Seating is both indoors, or outdoors in their cooled/heated courtyard, or enjoy dog friendly dining out front under their striped umbrellas. Their takeaway menu and providore items can be contactlessly pre-ordered during business hours via
